The Phenom Baseball Academy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.
Phenom Baseball is an academy that was established in 2006 with only one team which was 8 years old at the time. That team won the 9&U Triple Crown National Championship and started the run of success on and off the field. Since then, Team Phenom has collected 11 National titles and played on National TV (CBS Sports) elevating their success every year, not only as a player but also as a better student/athlete.
As Phenom Baseball is entering our 8th season, we will continue to dedicate ourselves to promoting America's national pastime to our young men while perpetuating the exciting atmosphere that allows fans, parents and players alike to enjoy the game. Our mission is to provide opportunities and exposure for our players while competing at the highest levels in youth baseball. We want to teach the integrity of the game of baseball and help players understand the greatness of the game while learning the life lessons associated with baseball such as the importance of education, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty and integrity. Phenom Baseball, overall, teaches their players to respect the game, work hard, and play hard - always - building character for a better society of champions.
The Phenom Baseball Academy is committed to providing each Phenom player with opportunities to help him grow as a complete person and to better meet the obstacles that he may face in today’s society, including high school and college. The Phenom Baseball Academy values competition that builds each player’s self-esteem through preparation, determination, focus, commitment and sportsmanship.
The Phenom Baseball Academy program focuses on consistent hard work and striving to make each member a better ballplayer. We believe in pushing our teammates to be better, picking them up when they are down, and always believing in themselves. Character is revealed in times of adversity and baseball provides that adversity. By putting these young baseball players in extremely competitive situations, we help them develop their character, which will benefit them not only in baseball, but in life.
Team Phenom’s goal is to provide each Phenom player with the opportunity to play baseball at a National level, thus allowing the player to experience and to develop life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and discipline - on and off the field. It is up to our present and future players/teams to extend the legacy created by our Phenom tradition. The work ethic created by those early players was exemplary. The fact that they cared enough to pass it on to the next generation of players was even more impressive. That work ethic and style of play is the reason we have a national reputation of playing the game “the right way”. It is a legacy worth perpetuating. Again, our goal is to respect the game as it should be played.
